Q1.愛自己的定義

Loving myself means...

每個人都有很多身份，在家中、朋友、同事、情侶關係中我們呈現的容貌不盡相同。不論是哪個身份，我認為做好自己的角色，彼此都會得到快樂和滿足。

We present a version of ourselves depending on the hat we’re wearing at the time. Whether it’s at home, with friends, colleagues or a romantic partner, I believe in giving the best of myself in whatever the role and that will lead to happiness and fulfillment.

透過瑣碎的生活片段，能更了解自己。最重要的一點是花時間獨處，聆聽心中所想，這個心中的「我」與自身的「我」，兩者的關係反而最常被自己忽略。

We can learn a lot about ourselves through the bits and pieces of everyday life. Don’t neglect what that voice inside is trying to tell you. It’s important to find a quiet place alone and listen to your heart.

Q2. 不愛自己的狀態

Not loving myself is...

太在意別人的想法，無視自己真正的意願。

Losing focus of yourself and placing too much importance on what others say.

我遇到很多朋友訴說他們的生活過得很「委屈」，總是逆來順受。但若然我們不會坦白，別人不懂讀心術，又怎樣能理解和得知自己的想法？

A lot of my friends say they feel aggrieved at what life throws at them, and that they have to put up with it. If we can’t be honest about our own feelings, we can’t expect others to know what we really want.

至少盡力爭取自己認為對的事，即使沒有變化，起碼能為自己堅強面對和勇於訴求而自豪。況且我們無法估計事情的發展，所以多按照自己的感受來行動其實亦無害。

Have courage and be proud of what you believe in. While you might not be able to affect immediate change, the least you can do is put up a fight and be true to yourself. You can never know how things will develop.

Q3. 愛自己的生活模式 The lifestyle of loving myself...

對我來說生命是短而艱難，有感生活的甜味需要經歷苦澀才會獲得。

Life is short and difficult. You must learn to accept the lows before you can appreciate the highs.

如太在意結果或抱太多希望，無法成功時便會加倍傷心和難過。

Over-focusing on results and having high hopes can hit hard if you don’t succeed.

所以我想愛自己的生活模式就是明白平凡的事物是最簡單幸福，有追求、大志固然好，路一定難行，遇到太多挫折也要相信美好的快來臨了，不要氣餒太久，支持和信任自己。

I believe happiness can be found through the most ordinary things in life. It’s important to be ambitious and have goals, but also be prepared for the struggle to get there. Don’t give up, and believe in yourself.
